Anguish

(Acrylics: 24X36)

Anquish

While watching televised news, there were several reports of someone losing a loved one. Almost always, there was someone in tears being interviewed about their loss or someone was taped while in tears and at a loss for words. Later I came across a photo that reminded me of the news reports as well as the crying young children being taken away from parents at the border. My mind's eye began to form this painting and as I began painting it...my mind's eye guided me on how to present Anguish.
