Boy
(Acrylics: 14x11)
Boy

This painting resulted from a dream. In the dream, I was walking about out in the desert when I came upon the house I lived in as a child. There was no one about the place excepting for a somewhat ghostly image sitting in a tree. As I approached the image, I realized it was a boy. I could sense his sadness and thought I heard soft sobbing coming from the image. I wanted to comfort the boy so I approached him. In the dream, I thought I recognized him. I woke up suddenly and was disappointed I was unable to make contact with the boy. This painting led to the painting Mindfield.
