Someone very close to me is always saying that we all make choices. Personally, I am fond of saying that life is about choices. We should all make good choices for ourselves and accept responsibility for each choice be they good, bad, ugly. Assuming there is no brain impairment, we can and should make good choices.
As I reflected on life choices, I began to see them as entry ways, portals into a life changing pathway. Some choices we can back out of while for others there is only go forward.  Choices are continuously before us each and every day. Choices begin early in our childhood with the simple selection of which toy we favor to play with or what playmate we choose to befriend.
