Elusive Focus
(Acrylics:10x10)
Elusive

This is sort of a funny incident. It was a hot day and I was working out lifting weights. For some reason, my concentration turned to other things rather than the task at hand. I was doing the up and on shoulders military press. On the down movement to the back of my head, onto my shoulders, I slammed the back of my head. I went down quickly but somehow managed to control the weight  as I crumpled to my knees. My vision was out of focus and I thought I might black out.  The painting is what I saw as I tried to focus my vision. It was the beginning of what I remember of the vertigo spin but it never quite got underway.
