While reading about the Middle East on the Net, I remembered I was fascinated with ancient Egypt when I was a child. I thought of the Goddess Isis and the God Seth. For some reason, the time of the Pharaohs captured my interest as a child. The painting is my rendition of the Egyptian Goddess Isis. She was considered a protective Goddess.
