My friend invited me one Sunday, as a guest, to the church he belonged to when we were teenagers. I remember the congregation singing a hymn and the lyrics started with 'On A Hill'. The hymn had to with a crucifixion on a hill called Calvary. The painting is a result of that memory of my firend and his church.
