This is a dream from several years ago.

I find myself walking aimlessly searching for something. I don't know exactly what or who I am searching for but I feel we are about to meet. I grow tired of searching. In frustration I shout, "Who are you?" There is no answer. I shout, "Where are you?" I hear the reply, "I am here." There in front of me appears a large and powerful looking mountain lion. It raises a paw in greeting and I notice it has only three claws on its left fore paw. It settles down and just looks at me. It seems very comfortable with my presence as I am with it. I have the sense that it was looking for me as well.
