I’m asleep. I wake up when I hear movement at the slider as if someone is trying to force open the latched slider screen. I sit up in bed and look in the direction of the slider. I see huge eyes. It’s someone’s face or is it a giant cat looking at me? I’m frozen in awe at the sight of it. It just watches me without a sound, without blinking, no movement.
I wake up.
